Our Industrialists Add Strength to Turkey’s Power
İbrahim Şahintaş, Member of the Board of the All Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TÜMSİAD), stated that Turkey was at the top of Europe with the June industrial production index and said, “We believe that the worst period in the economy is behind us. The wheels in the industry are turning for a strong Turkey”.
Şahintaş, Member of the Board of Directors of TÜMSİAD, evaluated the industrial production index announced by the Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak. Pointing out that Turkey ranked first among the European Union countries in this field with a production index of 17.6 percent in June, İbrahim Şahintaş said that the industrialist maintained its production appetite despite all the negative effects of the pandemic process. İbrahim Şahintaş said, “While the world was experiencing the biggest crisis of the last 100 years, the wheels in production started to turn again with the support of our state to our producers and the belief of our industrialists in the future of our country. We are among the 5 fastest recovering countries on a global scale. I believe that this recovery trend will form the basis for a much stronger development move. I heartily congratulate all of our entrepreneurs who have worked diligently for the welfare of our country and achieved a remarkable performance during this challenging period. Our country, which draws its strength from its working and producing people, will continue its rise with sure steps.”
